Sic Meeting 2012 in the south of France

An international meeting in relation to the Sic journal will be held near Avignon, where a previous meeting took place in 2008. It will last from 10th to 17th of August. On the material level, the meeting will be set up by Théorie Communiste, and the discussions should revolve around 3 main axes:

• Texts are sent beforehand and stored on this website
• The present situation: a major crisis in Greece, the ‘Arab Revolutions’, the ‘Indignados movements’, the Occupy Wall Street phenomenon, etc.
• Possible editorial content of Sic 2, reports from Sic 1

You may send whatever texts you wish to discuss. The discussions are to take place in both English and French. Several rooms will be available for parallel discussions. Accommodations are dormitories and an expanse of land where to put a tent. The individual share of expenses should be around 12€/day/person.
